Baw Baw Shire Council hosts free Pop-up Playgroups for children on various dates from 30 October to 12 December 2025

Baw Baw Shire invites families to free Pop-up Playgroups with themed activities, crafts, music, storytime, and outdoor fun for children aged 0 - 5, fostering connection, learning, and community engagement.

Families with young children are warmly invited to join in the magic of play with several free Pop-up Playgroup sessions planned throughout Baw Baw Shire over the coming months. Each session will centre around a fun and engaging theme with plenty of guided activities, crafts, music, story time and free play for children to enjoy.

East Ward Councillor Kate Wilson said the playgroups are a fantastic way for young families to blend fun with community and connection. "With warmer weather on the horizon, now is a great time to join in the many upcoming playgroup sessions. It’s free to come along and you don’t need to book. Come along with your little ones or come with a group to share in a morning of fun", said Cr Wilson.

Sessions are suitable for children between the ages of 0 - 5 years old. Parents and carers are required to actively supervise their children throughout the events. For more information, please visit Pop-Up Playgroup page.
