Wellington Shire Council invites Gippsland residents to free online webinar series in Sustainable, Energy-Efficient Homes on 26 February 2026

Gippsland residents are invited to join a free 2026 Sustainable Living webinar series, offering practical advice on solar, batteries, electric homes, comfort, water, and climate-resilient design, delivered by Renew and local councils.

Residents across Gippsland are invited to take part in a free online webinar series focused on practical ways to make homes more comfortable, energy efficient and sustainable. The Sustainable Living Series, running throughout 2026, will cover a wide range of topics including solar power and home batteries, all electric homes, electric vehicles, seasonal home comfort, sustainable building materials, water management and climate resilient design.

Sustainable homes webinar

These webinars provide clear, practical advice residents can apply in their own homes, whether people are looking to reduce energy bills, improve comfort or plan future upgrades. The series is delivered by independent energy experts Renew, in collaboration with Wellington Shire, Bass Coast Shire, South Gippsland Shire, East Gippsland Shire and Latrobe City councils. Each 90 minute online session is free to attend and includes plenty of time for questions.

The first webinar will be held Thursday 26 February with an Introduction to Solar session, followed by topics on home battery storage, all electric homes, electric vehicles, winter and summer comfort, sustainable building materials, water and greening and more. Sessions are suitable for homeowners, renters, renovators and anyone interested in living more sustainably.
