Applications Invited for 2019 Bass Coast Business AwardsApplications are now open for 2019 Bass Coast Business Awards. By Portal Admin - 2nd June 2019 - Back to News It’s that time of year again! Bass Coast Shire Council is on the search for the best businesses in Bass Coast.
Entries for the 2019 Bass Coast Business Awards open on Monday, 27 May 2019 and close on Monday, 8 July 2019 at 5.00pm. Head to www.basscoast.vic.gov.au/businessawards to enter an application for the Awards.
This year there are seven categories in the Judged Awards, which provide participation opportunities for all of the different types of businesses in Bass Coast.
The categories are: Business Excellence (up to five employees), Business Excellence (six or more employees), Marketing and Promotion, New Business, Environment and Sustainability, Good Access is Good Business and Industry Collaboration.
Bass Coast Shire Deputy Mayor Cr Bruce Kent said Council would like to urge the businesses of Bass Coast to ‘have a go’ at entering the awards.
"It is an opportune time to stand back and assess business operations and reflect on the success of your business," Cr Kent said.
On top of the Judged Awards, there is also the popular People's Choice category.
This category allows customers to vote for the Bass Coast business that they believe provides the best products and services.
Customers can ‘proclaim their love’ for their favourite business by voting online at www.basscoast.vic.gov.au/businessawards. People’s Choice voting also closes on Monday, 8 July 2019 at 5.00pm.
Winners of the 2019 Awards will be announced at a Presentation Event Dinner on Friday, 23 August 2019 at the RACV Inverloch Resort.
