FReeZA underage rage on FridayLatrobe City’s ‘Pump It!06’ FReeZA committee is holding its first underage rage for the year at the Inferno nightclub in Kay Street Traralgon on Friday 2 June 2006. The event will run from 6pm until 10pm. Entry will be $10. By Latrobe City Council - 26th May 2006 - Back to News There will be games and competitions for dancing, beat-boxing and karaoke. Prizes will include two i-Pod Shuffles and gift vouchers.
Following the success of the committee’s first event, a Battle of the Bands in March, the committee is hoping for another great night full of entertainment, fun and giveaways.
FReeZA is a state government funded program that offers young people a safe environment to have a good time without drugs, alcohol and smoking.
A local committee of young people run local drug and alcohol-free live bands, dance parties and cultural events for young people aged between 12 and 25 years of age.
This year’s FReeZA committee, ‘Pump It!06’, is running five events in 2006. The committee is made up of 16 young people aged between 12 and 25 years of age from across Latrobe City.
The FReeZA committee members are exposed to a wide range of training opportunities including; event management planning, marketing and promotion, and loads more.
