Oh yes it’s Ladies NightThe Latrobe Performing Arts Centre will feature a comedy show called Ladies Night on 13 July. Learn more about this event. By news@gippsland - 5th July 2016 - Back to News Get the girls together – Wednesday, 13 July is ladies night at Latrobe Performing Arts Centre.
Latrobe City Council’s performing arts and venues coordinator, Kathleen Roberts, said the comedy Ladies Night is the perfect excuse for a night out.
"Ladies Night is story of four unemployed guys motivated by ‘The Chippendales’ to form a male stripping act in order to make some fast cash," Ms Roberts said.
"They pitch the notion to a local club owner and take lessons from a dance instructor in all manner of things, including what women really want from a male stripper - and how to deliver it."
Written in 1987, by Anthony McCarten and Stephen Sinclair, Ladies Night has been translated into twelve languages and remains New Zealand’s most commercially successful play of all time.
"Ladies Night will leave you ready to party. It’s the kind of show that you can take your granny to - cheeky, fun, a little bit naughty and a really good giggle," Ms Roberts concluded.
The show starts at 7.30pm at Latrobe Performing Arts Centre, Traralgon.
