Latrobe Performing Arts Center - What's on in April 2021Series of wonderful and fun-filled event for the whole family. By news@gippsland - 2nd April 2021 - Back to News In our 50th Year we bring you a mix of old favourites, brand new shows and a few special surprises along the way. There are series of shows that you can enjoy with the whole family and friends.
We are pleased to continue bring you "access pricing." If you cannot afford the full price on any season show, you can pay the Access Price. No questions asked! It’s our way of saying everyone is welcome.
SALUTE TO THE ANZACS
A production dedicated to those brave men and women who gave of their lives in service of our country
With a stunning cast led by producer and narrator Chris McKenna, star tenor Roy Best, and Latrobe City’s own musical theatre star Jaz Flowers, this show will feature many hit songs, stories and laughter that came from World War I, World War II and The Vietnam War, all in front of a backdrop of incredible images on the big screen.

Drawing inspiration from classic games you'll leave with sore cheeks and reminisce about those childhood games we’ve all loved
Entertaining with a sprinkle of nostalgia, Go, Go, GO! draws on stunning acrobatics and ingenious physical theatre to create a playful, hilarious and spectacular world that celebrates why games - in all their various forms - continue to stand the test of time.

THE 91-STOREY TREEHOUSE
Live on Stage return with a fantastical trip through this wild, weird and wonderful world
A play by Richard Tulloch Adapted from the book by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton, Andy and Terry’s Treehouse has reached an amazing 91 Stories! It’s now more fantastically dangerous than ever, with a deserted desert island, a whirlpool, and a giant spider! But, Andy, Terry and Jill have no idea they’re about to face their biggest challenge yet!
This play for children and their adult will be on Friday 14 April at 6.30pm. For more information, visit the 91-storey house.

THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR
A show that would excite, educate and entertain new readers and first-time theatre-goers
The Very Hungry Caterpillar emerges off the page in a masterful theatrical experience for children 18 months+ and their adults. Alongside The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the show features three other Eric Carle stories, including Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?
The show is presented by CDP Kids Productions. It will be on Monday, 17 May at 11:20am and 1:30pm of the same day. For adult tickets,it is at $25 and for children at $15. To know more about the show, visit the very hungry caterpillar.
THE MERGER
Now an acclaimed feature film adaptation starring Damian Callinan, Kate Mulvany and John Howard
In this Barry Award nominated classic, Damian Callinan brings to life Bodgy Creek, a township that has seen better days. The dysfunctional Bodgy Creek Roosters Footy Club is in trouble and will either have to fold or merge with their arch rivals - the Hudson’s Flat Cougars.
