Come sing with Latrobe Valley Community Choir and our new music director Dr Kevin Cameron
We are excited to be returning to in person rehearsals on Tuesday nights, with our new Music Director Dr Kevin Cameron
Play It Forward is thrilled and honoured to announce the appointment of Latrobe Valley Community Choir's new music director, award winning conductor and Director of Performing Arts at Gippsland Grammar - Dr Kevin Cameron. "I am delighted to be working with the Latrobe Valley Community Choir and as a part of Jonathon Welch's Play It Forward family as we work together to build community cohesion, connection, and inclusion through music.
Kevin Cameron is an Australian music educator, conductor, and music director of the New Zealand Youth Symphonic Winds and Director of Performing Arts at Gippsland Grammar School

The future is bright with interesting musical projects and wonderful people with whom to make memorable music," said Dr Cameron. "I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Dr Cameron for many years, and have witnessed his incredible skill and talent as a conductor and music educator with people of all ages and all abilities.
He brings out the best in everyone he works with, and we are delighted to welcome him to our incredible music and admin team and the Play It Forward family now" said founding artistic director, Jonathon Welch AM.
Rehearsals are Tuesday night
The Latrobe Valley Community Choir are excited to be returning to in person rehearsals on Tuesday nights, commencing with a social gathering this Tuesday 1 March 2022 from 7pm at our fantastic new rehearsal venue, St James Anglican Church in Traralgon.
We are also thrilled to welcome our new Music Director, Dr Kevin Cameron, who will be starting with us this term. Latrobe Valley Community Choir is a program of Play It Forward with rehearsals led by our fun and talented music directors.

Try with short term membership
For the special term fee of $50 for short term membership for Latrobe Valley Community Choir from 1 March to 5 April with Jonathon Welch AM, Founding Artistic Director. Repertoire includes popular music, world music, classics and exciting new works.
Our rehearsals are led by inspiring and talented music directors with repertoire including popular music, world music, classics and exciting new works. We rehearse following Government COVID 19 safe guidelines. Play It Forward, founded by Jonathon Welch AM, provides a unique range of tailored inclusive arts programs, events and projects for all Australians.
