Voleyball Press ReleaseMorwell competed in five of the six grand finals contested at Latrobe Valley junior volleyball tournament held at Moe Newborough Sports Centre last Sunday when 26 teams competed in 6 grades. By - 5th August 2003 - Back to News Morwell won gold in the Under 15 and Under 17 Girls and the Under 19 Boys. While the under 19 girls and Under 17 Boys won silver.
The Edison Mission Gippsland Sports Academy coaches were in attendance looking for athletes with talent or with potential, to participate in volleyball program that starts in the next couple of weeks. They would have been please to see that their efforts over the previous years were not wasted as there were many spectacular team and individual skills shown during the day.
