Darren Chester presented new Australian flag to Traralgon South CFA in gratitude for Volunteer Firefighters' service and dedication
Traralgon South CFA volunteers received a new Australian flag from MP Darren Chester, recognising their dedication to protecting the community and honouring their vital contribution to regional emergency services.
Volunteer firefighters at Traralgon South CFA will see a new Australian flag hoisted on the station's flagpole following a visit from the Federal Member for Gippsland, Darren Chester. Mr Chester presented the Traralgon South CFA firefighter Greg Carter with a new flag last week, replacing the old flag that had seen better days.

Mr Chester said, "It was good to catch up with volunteer firefighter Greg and present the Traralgon South CFA with a new Australian flag. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our country's communities."
"Their willingness to give their time, energy and knowledge for the benefit of the rest of us is something for which we all should say 'thank-you'. Providing the Traralgon South CFA with a new flag is just a small gesture of thanks for the enormous role station volunteers play in keeping our community safe," said Mr Chester.
