Traralgon Hosts Under Ages FReeZACentral Tour 2005Christmas has arrived early for young Eastern Victorians, with tickets now on sale for the Traralgon FReeZACentral gig happening at Inferno on Friday 2nd December. By FReeZACentral - 24th November 2005 - Back to News Punk heavyweights Frenzal Rhomb and Bodyjar will be joined by some hot young bands who have come through local all age music scenes across the state.
Presented by triple j, the FReeZACentral Tour 2005 kicks off in Traralgon before dates in Torquay, Bendigo and Melbourne.
Adored by the all-ages crowd, tour headliners Frenzal Rhomb bring their unique brand of boisterous punk rock on the road with FReeZACentral. Joining them are stalwarts of the Australian punk scene, Bodyjar, who have hit the all-ages map big time with the recent release of their ninth album ‘Bodyjar’. Both bands are known for their high-energy live shows, and the FReeZACentral audience wouldn’t expect anything less!
A Victorian Government initiative, the FReeZACentral Tour 2005 is co-ordinated by the next generation of music industry professionals – 50 young people from across the state are being mentored by music industry professionals to plan, promote and stage this large-scale tour project. Bands were chosen by young people involved in FReeZACentral and FReeZA Committees.
