Free tax seminar for local community and sporting groupsWellington Shire Council has arranged for the Tax Office to run a special information seminar designed specifically to help non-profit organisations such as community and sports groups. By Wellington Shire Council - 28th October 2003 - Back to News The event is being held at the Esso BHP Wellington Entertainment Centre in central Sale, from 2pm – 3pm, on Monday 17 November. It is free to attend and will offer invaluable information and advice on Tax Office products and services including practical tips on how to search for information on the Tax Office web site www.ato.gov.au as well as on alternative sources of information for those without access to the Internet.
Non-profit organisations will also be able to get advice on fundraising issues, electing new office bearers and eligibility for supplier discounts.
