New Car Park Signs Show The WayNew car park identification signage has been installed in the Moe and Morwell central business districts adjacent to council car parks, following a successful trial in Traralgon which commenced in 2007. By Latrobe City - 19th September 2008 - Back to News The new signs make it easier for residents and visitors to identify council controlled public parking spaces.
Latrobe City mayor, Cr Bruce Lougheed, said the signs are highly visible and indicate the number of spaces and type of spaces available. "They also indicate the length of stay that parking bays can be used for," Cr Lougheed explained.
The new signs were rolled out in Traralgon initially, to assist shoppers locate parking areas they may not have been familiar with, while the new multi-storey car park in Seymour Street was under construction.
