PumpIt!06 set to rock TyersLatrobe City’s FReeZA committee PumpIt!06 is set to rock the Tyers Town Hall with an Underage Dance Party on Friday 28 July from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. By Latrobe City Council - 13th July 2006 - Back to News Latrobe City’s youth services program officer, Nicole Carder, said that this action packed night was the third event planned by the Latrobe City FReeZA committee.
"The committee has planned a night full of dance, hip hop and beat box competitions along with great giveaways. There will be an Apple i-Pod Shuffle up for grabs along with some great surf and skate gear," Ms Carder said.
"We will be running a free bus service from Yallourn North, Toongabbie, Glengarry and Traralgon. Bookings are essential as seats are limited, and all seats must be booked by Wednesday 26 July," Ms Carder added.
"As with all FReeZA events, this fully supervised party is open to young people aged 12-17 and is alcohol, drug and smoke free. These events are a great way for young people to get together, let their hair down and have fun, but in a safe environment. We’d love to see as many young people there as possible, so get on down to Tyers!"
Entry is $7.00 and the event runs from 6.30pm-10.30pm. The venue has disability access, parking and toilets. For further information and for all bus bookings please call Latrobe City Council on 1300 367 700.
FReeZA is a State Government initiative that encourages young people to plan and run their own events in a drug, alcohol and smoke free atmosphere.
