Community Access Centre Gets Together with GippsTAFE CEO

GippsTAFE students studying Community Access courses all over the Latrobe Valley recently attended a morning tea at GippsTAFE’s Community Access Centre in Morwell.

Morning TeaThe morning tea gave the students a chance to touch base at the centre, mingle with other students doing similar courses and meet GippsTAFE’s CEO Jeff Gunningham.

Students came from courses such as English for Migrants, English as a Second Language, English for the Older Migrant, English for Health and Advanced English, with students entering the courses at any time during the year.

GippsTAFE’s Community Access Centre runs courses 5 days a week all over the Latrobe Valley, including Traralgon, the Moe Library on Tuesdays, Migrant Resource Centre and the Community Access Centre in Morwell.

GippsTAFE’s Community Access Centre can help students improve their education, learn new skills and make new friends, giving students the choice to re-enter or continue their education in a non-threatening way , by first studying in the community.
