Rates Feedback Sought
Share your views on council rates and charges.
Gippslanders can now share their views on Council rates and charges as part of an independent review currently underway.
Community consultations sessions will be held in the Latrobe Valley next week, and feedback from the consultations will form the basis of the Local Government Rating System Review.
"It’s a great opportunity for local ratepayers to have a say about Council rates and how the rating system can be improved." Mr Northe said.
A consultation session will be held at the Premiere Function Centre on Thursday, October 10 from 7pm. To register your interest please email: rating.review@delwp.vic.gov.au
The panel who are undertaking the review are due to deliver the panel’s findings to the State Governments Local Government Minister by March 2020.
