Ferry Maintenance

East Gippsland Shire Council has advised that the Raymond Island Ferry will be out of service tomorrow, Tuesday 11 April, from 10 am until 2 pm for pre-Easter maintenance.

East Gippsland Shire Council has advised that the Raymond Island Ferry will be out of service tomorrow, Tuesday 11 April, from 10 am until 2 pm for pre-Easter maintenance

Shire manager assets Gordon Charles said the routine maintenance requirements required the temporary suspension of service.

"We consider it prudent to service the ferry and make some adjustments to the chains in advance of the expected higher use during the Easter period," he said.
