Maffra Community Caravan Has New Home

Owned by the Shire, to be used by the community with proceeds returned to the community

Maffra Community Caravan is provided as a joint initiative of the Rotary Club of Maffra and the Wellington Shire Council. With the appointment of the Maffra Community Resource Centre as the local shire agency it has been agreed that all bookings, invoicing and receipt of payments will be done by the Centre. Rotary will continue to transport and set up the caravan for each hire and Council will house the van when not in use.

Friday morning street stall caravan hire is $44.00 of which $4.00 is G.S.T, Rotary receives $30.00 assisting with the delivery and annual maintenance of the van. The remaining $10.00 goes to the Maffra Community Resource Centre to cover the administrative costs. For future bookings contact the Centre by phoning 51473017 or call at 33 Queen Street Maffra.

The caravan is community owned as a Shire asset, used by the community and the proceeds are returned to the community via Rotary and the Resource Centre.
