Latrobe City’s children’s library officer, Noeline Grayden, said the free dance sessions would provide some exciting activities for children in a fun and safe environment.

"The theme for the holidays is move and groove. The activity will take children into a world where they dance up a storm with instruments, music and movement," Ms Grayden said.

"CARP Productions, a Melbourne theatre company, will present a 45 minute production called ‘Move and Groove’. Children attending the performances can join in this all new music show and learn about instruments and music new and old. They’ll be invited to help tell a story about dancing, prancing Harry," Ms Grayden explained.

"We look forward to welcoming primary school aged children to this interactive show and encouraging then to be active as well as having heaps of fun," Ms Grayden concluded.

The ‘Move and Groove’ Show will be held on Wednesday 4 April, at the Moe Newborough Recreation Centre at 10 am as part of the ‘Go for your life’ fun day and then at the Morwell Library at 1pm as well as the Traralgon Library at 3pm.

Bookings are advisable (except for the Moe/Newborough Recreation Centre) as numbers are limited. To book a place at the Morwell Library telephone 5128 5436 and to book a place at the Traralgon Library telephone 5176 3630. All events are free.
