Funding available for savvy mentors from Business Boost Program by Victorian government to help East Gippsland business recover
Business Boost, funded by a Victorian government Local Economic Recovery grant, will initially launch in Bruthen and Buchan to help entrepreneurs and business owners to achieve their goals.
Business-savvy people with a knack for seeing opportunities, a passion for passing on skills and a can-do mindset are invited to join our new 'Business Boost program' as part of its Resource Team, which aims to help entrepreneurs achieve their business dreams and make East Gippsland's economy more robust.
Join the free info session about the "Business Boost" program and learn how you can become part of the Resource Team
Customised professional support
The program will match a team of business professionals and skilled volunteers and students with entrepreneurs, to provide volunteer or low-cost customised professional support. An entrepreneurial facilitator, employed through council, will be the first point of contact for the Business Boost program, connecting each entrepreneur with the right match on the Resource Team.
The program is supported by council's partner, Ignite Small Business Start-ups. Ignite will provide training throughout the program for both our program facilitator and the Resource Team.
