Threatt at age 23 has been playing in the NCAA Division 2 (National Collegiate Athletic Association) for California State University Bakersfield and has an impressive record for both assists and steals.

Pacers President, David Roberts said Sedale is a welcome addition to the team and has already shown some great leadership qualities at training.

"We believe he will do well at controlling the pace of the game and directing play" Roberts said

"The team played well at Frankston without Sedale on the weekend, and put up a good effort in both games"

"Against Sandringham on Sunday, the guys come together as a team and matched up well despite the Sabres line-up which included Matt Smith, Marcus Timmons and Bobby Cunningham"

"With Sedale to come into the team the season is looking promising" he said.

"Weaver was held back on Saturday and only scored 8 points, while on Sunday he cut loose with a 30 point game and 4 assists"

"It was also great to see Stuart Leech in a game situation and he didn’t disappoint. He adds some additional height to the team and played well inside in both games scoring a combined 22 points"

Sam Hurren also had a great weekend with 21 and 11 points in the two games.

Dandenong will tough this weekend having moved from the South East League to the Big V and boasting a strong line-up.

The Pacers will be hoping for big things from Threatt in his first game, but it is likely to take a while for him to find his feet in the new league and new team.

Tip off is at 8pm at the Moe Newborough Sports Centre, this Saturday the 19th of March.
