Shire To Stage Flood Recovery Meetings

East Gippsland Shire is conducting a number of community meetings to provide people with an opportunity to gain an understanding of the flood recovery process.

Meeting details are:

All community members are invited to the Meetings to hear from representatives of the Shire, Police, Department of Human Services, Centrelink, State Emergency Service, Gippsland Lakes Community Health, Department of Primary Industry and the Insurance Council.

The meetings will provide an opportunity people to hear of the progress being made with the flood recovery process as well as to establish what assistance may be available to assist them.

The meetings will also provide the opportunity for Shire representatives to hear from the community about their most pressing issues and priorities.
