Bass Coast Shire Council’s Arts Officer, Josie Kent, said as usual the Festival is built on a huge program of creative community and artist-run events, exhibitions, performances and festivals.

"This year’s festival theme is light," Ms Kent said.

"Gippsland is set to shine with fabulous young film makers, photographers, big screen animation, multimedia installations, music and acres of art and heart.
