opportunity for people to get involved and have some fun on our beautiful coast.
"Summer by the Sea also raises awareness of coastal and marine issues. The activities suit all ages and
they’re all free," Ms Gatt said.
"In the East Gippsland region, get into rockpool rambles, kayaking, birdwatching, guided walking tours and
more."

The Summer by the Sea festival is run by the Department of Sustainability and Environment’s Coastcare
program, with the support of volunteers and local experts.
Our partners and volunteer groups include Lake Tyers Coastaction, Friends of Beware Reef, Fishcare East
Gippsland, East Gippsland CMA and East Gippsland Water.
"Summer by the Sea lets the East Gippsland community explore, understand and conserve the natural
wonders of our spectacular coastline," Ms Gatt said.
