All products are available to Gippsland householders and are provided free of any costs through "Eco Energy Services" By John VanderWerff - 2nd June 2013 - Back to News Eco Energy Services, through our partnership with "Energy Makeovers and the VEET (Victorian Energy Efficiency Target) Scheme are proud to be able to provide households throughout Gippsland with a range of energy saving devices to enable them to reduce their energy consumption, cut their energy bills and improve the environmental impact of power generation in Victoria.
All products provided by "Eco Energy Services" are FREE of any costs to the householder.
These products include:
In Home Displays - These allow you to monitor your electricity usage on an hourly, daily, weekly and monthly basis from the comfort of your own lounge room. The displays fit almost all smart and digital meters and are provided free of charge with any AV or PC Standby Power Controller.
AV-SPC and PC- SPC. Audio Visual Standby Power Controller and PC Standby Controllers - Turns all peripheral equipment off when you turn off your Television and or your Computer. These devices cut your power bill by upwards of 10%. Up to 4 of these units can be installed FREE of charge in any household in Gippsland that doesn't already have them.
Low Flow Shower Heads. Save over 100,000 litres of water, and the associated power costs to heat it by allowing "Eco Energy Services" to swap out your old shower heads for the new, 9 litre a minute units. Up to 2 Shower Heads can be swapped out FREE of charge through the VEET Scheme for any householder (unsuitable for basic gravity fed Hot water systems and older instantaneous gas hot water systems).
Compact fluorescent Light Globes. "Eco Energy Services" can swap out al of your older incandescent light globes for energy saving Compact Fluorescent Light Globes. These will cut the lighting component of your electricity bill by about 50%. Again all CFL's are provided and installed FREE of any costs to the householder.
Chimney Balloons - Close up your open fireplace in Spring and stop all of your cooling flying up your chimney. As well, if you don't use your chimney in winter allowing "Eco Energy Services" to supply and install FREE chimney Balloons will stop the heat from escaping as well. Once more these are provided and installed FREE of charge through the VEET scheme.
Door Seals. "Eco Energy Services" also provide and install FREE door seals to stop cold air displacing your expensive heat from under your doors. Similarly, they stop your cooling from being dragged outside in summer as well.

It is important to remember that all of these products are supplied and installed free of any costs to householders through the VEET (Victorian Energy Efficiency Target) Scheme - a Government project aimed to reduce everyone's carbon footprint.
Finally it is also important to note that all of these products are available to a wide variety of businesses as well. Hotels, Motels, Guest Houses B&B's, Holiday Parks, Resorts, Backpacker Hostels, anywhere there's a bed, are eligible to receive this range of electricity saving devices.
Reducing your power bill is only part of the equation though. Understanding that cutting power usage also means we're cutting greenhouse emissions and reducing the carbon footprint. This has to be a huge benefit as well.
