Council Visits Local Industries

Bass Coast Shire Council has offered to visit local industries over the next few months to look at their current operations and needs for the future.

By Bass Coast Shire Council - 3rd June 2005 - Back to News

Council’s Chief Executive Officer, Allan Bawden, and Shire Mayor, Cr Neville Goodwin, recently met with Keith Donohue from Coldon Homes to discuss their future plans.

Mr Bawden says the Shire’s large industries, such as Coldon Homes, are important because of their provision of employment and vital services to the local community.

"Coldon Homes has been a well known Bass Coast business for many years, having been involved in the construction of many houses throughout Bass Coast and Victoria.

"Together with their Mitre 10 outlets, Coldon Homes employ over 190 staff," he said.

Mr Bawden encouraged local industries to contact Council should they wish to organise a meeting.

Mr Bawden and Bass Coast Shire Councillors can be contacted on (03) 5671 2211 or (03) 5951 3311.
