Montfort Manor Wins Top Tourism Award  Montfort Manor Local business Montfort Manor has taken out top honours for Hosted Accommodation at the RACV 2013 Victorian Tourism Awards. By Russell Northe - 12th November 2013 - Back to News Montfort Manor Owners, David & Melinda Wilson.
"This is a wonderful acknowledgement of what Montfort Manor strives to offer. We are honoured to have also won this category, Hosted Accommodation, in 2012 & 2010. We want our guests to feel special, to enjoy the peace and serenity of our gardens, to relax in seclusion. We’ve tried to create an adults only, paradise right here in Traralgon and the award is recognition"
In its 29th year, the awards are instrumental in encouraging creativity, professionalism and innovation within the tourism industry.
"Each year, the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards recognise and reward the best tourist experiences across our state and honour our highly skilled workforce and promote award-winning products," Minister for Tourism and Major Events Louise Asher said.
"The awards celebrate the achievements of those who strive for tourism excellence and quality and to make Victoria a world-class tourism destination."
More than 150 tourism operators competed in 27 business categories, with another three individual and group awards presented at a gala ceremony on 11 November.
As a Victorian Tourism Awards-winner, Montfort Manor will go on to represent Victoria at the Qantas 2014 Australian Tourism Awards in Sydney in February 2014.
