New opening hours for Latrobe City Box OfficeFrom Monday 18 April 2005, the Latrobe City Box Office will be changing its opening hours to improve access times for patrons booking or collecting tickets. By City of Latrobe - 7th April 2005 - Back to News Latrobe City Mayor, Councillor Bruce Lougheed, said that the new hours were much more accommodating for those residents who work standard office hours.
The new hours for the Box Office at the Latrobe Regional Performing Arts Centre will be 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9am to 1pm. We will also still open one hour prior to a performance, for last minute bookings.
"These flexible times allow workers to book and collect tickets in the evenings after work or on Saturday mornings if they are unable to come during the week," Cr Lougheed said.
Latrobe City’s Performing Arts and Venue Co-ordinator, Kathleen Roberts, added that booking outlets at Moe and Morwell would also be maintained.
"Residents can access booking information and tickets at Council’s Moe Service Centre, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm, and at the Latrobe Regional Gallery in Morwell, Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm," Ms Roberts explained.
"To ensure that residents are kept up to date with the current season’s performances during the year, we are able to send out a newsletter and other information on the upcoming shows," Ms Roberts advised.
Ms Roberts added that the current season of performances was very strong.
"We have the Café Concert series, Morning Music series, an education series for children and an exciting and varied general audience series. Audiences can sample jazz, dance, puppetry, drama and popular music. We really do have something for everyone," Ms Roberts concluded.
