Celebrating Bass Coast'S New Citizens

Bass Coast Shire Council welcome 19 new citizens at a Citizenship Ceremony held on 22 September.

The new citizens came from the countries of Thailand, United States of America, Philippines, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore, India and China.

They now reside in the Bass Coast towns of Inverloch, Cape Woolamai, Grantville, Wonthaggi, Bass, Cowes and San Remo.

Bass Coast Mayor, Cr Kimberley Brown, presided over the ceremony, with Council’s General Manager of Governance and Organisation Development Mark Brady, as MC.

Special guest speakers were Member for Bass, Brian Paynter MLA, and Bass Coast Citizen of the Year 2015, Jeff Nottle.www.gippslnad.com
