Community Meeting In Sale For Flood Affected Residents A community meeting will be held Monday 16 July in Sale for flood affected residents.The meeting will be held at 4.30pm in the Wellington Room in the Wellington Shire Council offices.
By Wellington Shire Council - 12th July 2007 - Back to News "These meetings provide information about the various types of help available to our residents who have been affected by the recent flooding" said Cr Jeff Amos, acting Mayor of Wellington Shire Council.
"We want to be able to give those residents as much support as we can. These meetings are a way of bringing the various agencies and organisations together, making it a lot simpler for community members to access comprehensive and relevant information" said Cr Amos
Representatives the Wellington Shire Council Recovery team and government and welfare agencies and will be available at the meeting to answer questions
All residents whose properties have been flood affected are also encouraged to register for assistance and information on 1300 137 218.
