Traralgon, north of Marshalls Road.

Latrobe City Council’s mayor, Councillor Sharon Gibson, said that the new development would provide lifestyle opportunities for families looking to build in the area.

"The development will provide choice for buyers and a mix of different types of housing. As new subdivisions open up Latrobe City Council has a focus on ensuring high quality designs and the provision of liveable neighbourhoods for future residents to enjoy.

"This particular subdivision has been approved is in accordance with Latrobe City Council’s Traralgon North Development Plan (TNDP) and will link in with the future residential development of land to the west. The TNDP covers 118 hectares and is expected to deliver over 1000 residential allotments with associated public open space, roads, pathways, wetlands and other physical infrastructure.

"This development is the next in what has been a hive of activity for residential development in Traralgon over the past 12 months. We have new residential developments opening up at Franklin Place adjacent to the Traralgon North site as well as Stockdale Fields off Cross’s Rd, not to mention new stages of the Erin Park development. This is an exciting time for residential buyers in Traralgon and reflects the success of Council’s commitment to increase land supply with lots of options available for places to live," Cr Gibson concluded.
