Marlo Angling Club community hall to be upgraded with $336,000 funding from Local Economic Recovery Program
Upgrading the angling club hall for long-term benefit for the community.
Local MP Darren Chester has announced the Marlo Angling Club community hall will receive a much-needed upgrade thanks to funding from the Local Economic Recovery Program. Mr Chester said the Marlo Angling Club would receive $336,000 to repair the hall so it was useable year-round.

Upgrade inclusions
Mr Chester said, "The upgrades include repairs to the roof and walls, painting, upgrade of the amenities and ensuring the kitchen is up to correct commercial standards, it will also include the installation of insulation and air conditioning to ensure the hall is fit for purpose.
Long-term benefit for community
Mr Chester also said, "These upgrades will benefit Marlo and the wider community for many years to come. I'm determined to keep getting stuff done across East Gippsland to ensure our region is an even better place to live, work and raise a family."
