Maffra Patients MovedCentral Gippsland Health Service (CGHS) is relocating all patients from Maffra Hospital and the nearby Stretton Park residential facility as a precautionary measure during the current bushfire situation. By Municipal Emergency Co-Ordination Centre - 12th December 2006 - Back to News The patients are being relocated to other facilities in Gippsland as there may be considerable smoke in the area which may affect patients and make a later relocation difficult.
The decision to relocate patients was made by CGHS in consultation with the CFA and Rural Ambulance Victoria.
