Planning and development
Private Parking Agreement - Warragul Central Pty Ltd (Coles Warragul)
Council voted against the recommendation to endorse a private parking agreement between council and Warrigul Central Pty Ltd that would allow council's Parking Enforcement Officers to enter the privately owned car park at Coles, Warragul to enforce parking restrictions in the area.
PLA0268/22 - 245 Copelands Road, Warragul & 4-8 Bella Vista Drive, Warragul
Council moved to issue a Notice of Decision to Grant a planning permit for planning application PLA0268/22 - 245 Copelands Road, Warragul & 4-8 Bella Vista Drive, Warragul.
Community infrastructure
Public Road Register 2024/25
Council endorsed the proposed amendments listed in Attachment 1 - Proposed Amendments - 2024-2025 from public request, internal review & subdivision developments, to be included in, and/or removed from, the Public Road Register.
Council adopted the revised Public Road Register in Attachment 2 - Proposed Public Road Register 2024-2025 effective from 1 July 2024 and noted the cost implications associated with this review of the Public Road Register on the Annual Budget and the annual contract sum increase for CON2019060 - Routine Road Maintenance, effective from 1 July 2024.
Petition Response - Parking Congestion in Maple Way, Cedar Place and Willow Crescent, Warragul
Council moved to implement parking restrictions on Maple Way, Cedar Place and Willow Crescent in Warragul. Council will advise the lead petitioner of council's decision.
Pedestrian and Cyclist Safety Study for Trafalgar and Yarragon
Council endorsed the draft Pedestrian and Cyclist Safety Study for Trafalgar and Yarragon, and approved the preparation of feasibility assessments into each of the study's suggested improvements to inform future strategies and programs.
Development, grants and advocacy
Draft Dates and Occasions of Celebration and Significance Policy
Council endorsed the Draft Dates and Occasions of Celebration and Significance Policy to seek community input and feedback via community consultation process between 6 and 31 May 2024.
After community consultation, council will receive the final Dates and Occasions of Celebration and Significance Policy and a calendar for dates and occasions based on the Policy that can be delivered with the current allocation of resources.

Draft Municipal Early Years Infrastructure Plan 2025-2041
Council endorsed the Draft Municipal Early Years Infrastructure Plan (2025 - 2041).
Governance and information
Council meeting dates 2024
Council adopted the council meeting dates for the remainder of 2024, in accordance with council's Governance Rules.
Baw Baw Shire Council council meetings are open to the public and are held at the West Gippsland Arts Centre. Council Meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of the month and commence at 1.00pm for a 6 month trial period.
Following the conclusion of the trial on 30 June 2024, council will either revert back to twice-monthly council meetings at 5.30pm or resolve to continue once-monthly council meetings. All council meetings will be live-streamed, and archived recordings will be available on the council website for viewing. The agenda for the next meeting will be available online the Friday prior to the meeting.
