The exhibition features two kits – Myths & Rituals and Form, Space & Design - and both contain diverse works of art with international and historical origins along with contemporary pieces which gallery goers can handle, discuss and explore, giving them a hands-on cultural experience.

Over the coming months, groups of children of any age are able to attend the gallery and enjoy these kits that make art accessible to children located in regional and remote areas across Australia.

Said Wellington’s Mayor Jeff Amos: "This exciting, interactive exhibition will create a new experience for young gallery patrons encouraging them to appreciate art and other cultural activities. The council is proud of the many cultural and heritage attractions within its boundaries and is always keen to support events to introduce our youngest residents to these."
