Innovation Gippsland 2007 Takes OffInnovation Gippsland showcases innovation from our region on a national stage in May, with over 35 events celebrating innovation in all walks of life. By Innovation Gippsland - 8th May 2007 - Back to News The largest celebration of innovation in regional Australia runs until Wednesday May 30.
Mr Glenn Patterson, Chair of Innovation Gippsland and CEO of Baw Baw Shire said: "Gippsland has been recognised for a number of years as the biggest regional contributor to the Australian Innovation Festival. It is particularly pleasing to see the range and depth of events in this year’s program."
"Innovation is the key to our region’s future success. The businesses featured in this year’s launch showcase and the depth of this year’s program show how much our region has achieved," Mr Patterson continued,
Innovation Gippsland 2007 events are focused on business, tourism, environment, arts, education and community themes.
"One of the unique features of Innovation Gippsland is the way it brings together business, community and government in partnership to identify and celebrate some great local ideas being turned into reality," added Mr Patterson.
