Young Gippsland Artists Perform World Premier on Home Turf

The Cowwarr Art Space and CAN Inc. are offering you the opportunity to see what has sparked the national interest in the unique work of The Phonos Project;

The Phonos Project: Performance Saturday April 1st @ 8.00pm

Karen Heath bass clarinet and composition, Susan van den Ham dance choreographer, Chris Lane percussion are The Phonos Project; a contemporary chamber ensemble that specialises in new works, where dance and theatrics are regarded as equal elements to the overall art form that is choreographic music.  It is even more exciting to know that these young artists forging a career in the contemporary classical music scene all originated from Gippsland. They will perform their new choreographic music in the candle lit great hall of the Cowwarr Art Space.  The acoustics of the space the intimacy of the event and the emotive mood music of the performers all make it a music experience not to miss.

Karen Heath and Susan van den Ham from The Phonos Project, will share their approach and give you the chance to explore your own creativity through a series of practical performances to introduce you to choreographic music - that's playing an instrument and dancing at the same time.  Presented by Cowwarr Arts Network Inc. (CAN Inc.)
