Federation Health Gippsland Business Awards Nominations Close SoonJust a week for nominations to get in! By Chris Buckingham - 18th February 2003 - Back to News Gippsland Businesses have just over a week to get their nominations in to the Federation Health Gippsland Business Awards.
FHGBA Chairperson Chris Buckingham said: ‘Nominations close on the 1st March, 2003. The number of nominations received in the last week has picked up and we are preparing for the last week rush.’
The Federation Health Gippsland Business Awards have ten categories:
- Environment and Sustainable Business Practice
- Manufacturing/ Export
- Agriculture/ Primary Producer
- Retailing
- Accommodation
- Hospitality
- Commerce/ Information Communication Technology
- New Business
- Service
- Tourism
The nominations were sent out to all businesses in Gippsland via Australia Post about three weeks ago. If businesses have not got a nomination form they can contact Julie Bartram @ GippsTAFE on 51204 556.
Chris Buckingham continued: ‘If businesses are doing well they should have a go. The questions on the nomination form are not complicated and have been designed to make the Award nomination process as straight forward as possible. A number of businesses who nominated in past years have used the awards as a way of sharing success with their staff and their suppliers.’
The Finalists and Winners are announced at the Federation Health Gippsland Business Awards dinner held at the Premiere Function Centre in Traralgon on Friday, 2 May, 2003
