Landfill tender for South Gippsland out this weekend
Transfer stations and hard waste collection services to start on 3 July.
A tender process for the management and operation of Council's transfer stations and hard waste collection services will start this Saturday (3 July). We would encourage anyone interested to visit landfill tenders (from 3 July).

Recyclables (free of charge) | Paper/cardboard, glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles and containers (rigid plastic types 1 - 7), steel, whitegoods, car batteries and used motor oil | Accepted materials (fees apply) |
Other wastes (fees apply) | Domestic garbage, furniture, car bodies, tyres, concrete, bricks, clean fi ll, commercial wastes, domestic asbestos (landfi ll only, conditions apply), green waste, gas bottles and electronic waste | Materials NOT accepted |
Materials NOT accepted | Paint, chemicals and liquid waste. Household quantities of these items may be taken to Detox Your Home collection days |
