Council issues rate payment reminderLatrobe City Council CEO, Richard Hancock has reminded citizens who have elected to pay their 2003/2004 Municipal Rates other than by instalments, that payment in full must be received by close of business (5.15pm) on Monday 16 February. By Latrobe City Council - 4th February 2004 - Back to News Mr Hancock said that for those paying by instalments, the next payment is due by Monday 1 March.
"We have also placed public notices in the local paper to remind ratepayers of the due dates for payments. We would urge anyone who may have a problem making their payments to seek advice from the Property and Rating Services Office on 1300 367 700," Mr Hancock said.
"Overdue accounts will incur interest so it is desirable for ratepayers to remember to pay on time," Mr Hancock concluded.
