Professional Qualified International Horse Riding Instructor now available to Sth GippslandInternational rider and qualified instructor Kelly van den Berg recently relocated to the Sth Gippsland area from The Netherlands and is now commencing riding tuition to all levels. By KJ van den Berg - 31st March 2005 - Back to News Do you ride or have your own horse but feel that you may like to achieve more from your riding and from your horse what ever level you are ? Now a different approach is available to riders in the Sth Gippsland area. Kelly van den Berg specialises in a friendly experienced approach to riding lessons which concentrates on the riders skills helping them to become sensative to a horses natural instincts thus capitalising on the horses unique abilities and personality bringing out the positives and building on them. This technique of teaching not only helps you to achieve a better understanding of your chosen discipline and your friend and partner, the horse but makes the overall riding experience a more enjoyable one for you and your horse.
Lessons are available to all age groups and level of rider from the complete beginner child or adult, Grade 5 Pony Club to EFA Intermediate Dressage and Showjumping. The lessons are conducted in a safe, fully insured, top class facility with a large all weather arena, dressage arena and fantastic showjumping and training facilities. Parents and spectators are not forgotten with a comfortable viewing area outdoors and indoors and a fully equiped BYO restaurant with pool tables and games hall. If you don't have your own horse or pony, don't worry because educated horses and ponies are available at no extra cost.
Lessons are in a 1 hour session and are kept to small groups. Kelly says horse riding should be an enjoyable experience available to everybody in our community and that's why lesson fee's are kept to a minimum at only $25 per rider per hour.
With over 15 years of experience gained in three countries, Australia, England and The Netherlands Kelly comes from a diverse background of top class stables including dressage, racing, western pleasure, eventing and natural horsemanship techniques. A successful competitor herself in the field of showjumping she has trained under some of the top names in the sport including Scottish world cup competitor and NCAS level three instructor, Charlie Moffet. She has also competed and trained with world class cutting and western pleasure horses under american champion Hamish Brown at Ironbark Quarter Horse Stud which led to an interest in the natural horsemanship techniques of the likes of Monty Roberts and Pat Parelli. Kelly also accepts horses and ponies for training, is an AJC registered track rider, holds all relevent safety certificates and is fully insured. All inquiries and inspections are welcomed.
