Media and Marketing Manager joins AFL Gippsland

Damen Francis has joined the AFL Gippsland team as media and marketing manager.

Mr Francis brings a wealth of experience to the role, having most recently worked as sports editor at the Shepparton News and previously in Gippsland as a sports journalist at the Latrobe Valley Express.

AFL Gippsland general manager Travis Switzer said the appointment was an exciting one for the Regional Administration Centre.

„„Damen is a great addition to the team and will be responsible for managing and developing all aspects of AFL Gippsland‟s communication including media, social media, internal and external communication, marketing, community engagement and websites,‟‟ Mr Switzer said.

"His skills will ensure an open line of communication exists between the commission and our key stakeholders."
