Rewarded For Exceptional Service To Water IndustryEast Gippsland Water's Managing Director Les Mathieson has received the top honour from one of Victoria's leading water industry bodies, the Institute of Water Administration (IWA). By Gippsland Water - 29th June 2012 - Back to News He has been presented with the IWA's Barry E Leach Award, recognising his long and distinguished professional career and acknowledging his exceptional service to the institute and water industry as a whole.
Les has himself served twice as President of the IWA in the past. He has many years of experience in executive roles with Victorian water corporations, including as Chief Executive Officer of the Orbost Water Board prior to joining East Gippsland Water in 1995.

He is only the seventh person to receive the prestigious Barry E Leach Award.
