Keen netballers in Drouin will share in the biggest investment in women's and community sport in Victoria's history announced today by the Andrews Labor Government.

The community will receive a $600,000 contribution towards an upgrade of the netball courts to ensure they are compliant with netball standards.

The upgrades will give the Drouin Netball Club the facilities they need to train, compete and attract more Members – making it more successful and sustainable.

The funding will be provided through $60 million in the Victorian Budget 2018/19 for community sporting grants as part of a $241.6 million boost for women's and community sport.

The investment will also include a $15 million boost for the Female Friendly Facilities Fund to ensure women have the sporting facilities they deserve and need.
