As the Victorian Parliament resumes in 2021 tomorrow, Member for Morwell Russell Northe said that Youth Parliament was a great forum for young people aged 16-25 to gain hands on experience in the Parliamentary process.
"Our young people are our future and Youth Parliament is a fantastic opportunity see how Government works and ultimately it can lead to the amending of Victoria’s laws" said Mr Northe.
Youth Parliament has helped shape more than 30 Victorian laws including banning the sale of soft drinks in government schools and the mandatory wearing of bike helmets.
