The past few years has seen the school and community working closely together to refurbish the Community Hall, a joint use facility. An ‘unveiling’ ceremony at 2.00pm will officially recognise all the efforts of those involved in realizing the new look hall, including councillors, businesses, committee members and volunteers. The Primary School plays an important part in community life and liaises closely with the local Citizens Association.

Activities on the day include an exhibition of old photos and people are encouraged to bring along any interesting photos they may have to share. There will be craft and produce stalls, bric a brac/garage sale stalls, food and entertainment for all ages. You can even book your own stall to help with the spring cleaning!

Special guest of the day will be former pupil, Scot Gardner, who is widely known for his novels written for teenagers. He is also a great entertainer and really knows how to get some great sounds out of a didgeridoo.

For more information contact coordinator Joanie Smith on 5169 1620. To book a craft or produce stall you can contact Catherine on 5169 1665 or for garage sale stalls contact Hilarie on 5169 1585. To contact the Primary School ring 5169 1540.
