Caring for Maffra
Stretton Park is a community-run, not-for-profit residential aged care facility which has provided services to the Maffra district for 45 years. "The community has done an incredible job fundraising for previous stages."
"I was able to help secure funding for some major renovations to enlarge bathrooms and bring the facilities up to the standard expected in the modern era. This next stage of works will continue the modernisation of facilities and ensure our older residents have the best possible care at Stretton Park."
Stretton Park Committee Chair Helen Montague has welcomed the funding commitment. "We aim to continually improve the experience for our residents and staff, which is why we have worked to fundraise and deliver the first stages of the redevelopment program. This $1.5 million funding guarantee gives us hope that we will be in a position to deliver the stage of work sooner than expected."
