Top Scientist to Chair Conference

Gippsland Agribusiness Forum have appointed Dr. Bin Liu to Chair the Chinese section of their upcoming conference. Dr Liu will add greatly to the event showcasing the range and depth of Gippslands Agribusiness industries.

Dr Bin Lu:


           


Bin is a Manager for Market Development- China within Department of Primary Industries (DPI), State Government of Victoria.

 

He has been a research scientist in DPI for many years after finishing his PhD at La Trobe University.

 

Bin was born in China. Educated in Agri Science before lecturing at Fujian Agricultural University. He came to Australia 16 years ago.

 

Bin is overflowing with talent. He is a host for "Science & Technology Review" at 3CW Melbourne Chinese Radio Station, and a chief presenter of Chinese Program at 3ZZZ Melbourne Multicultural Radio Station. Bin’s social skills also can be proved through his leadership role in Chinese community such as the President of "Chinese Professionals Club of Australia" in 2001.His talent in music is obvious as you can tell from his singing. He has been passionately fond of singing, particularly Chinese folk songs, since he was at very young age.
