Community Safety Expo

What: An Emergency Services and Community Safety Expo is being held to celebrate Community Safety Month.

Expo is part of the San Remo Fishing Village Festival. People will be able to see vehicles that might be used by emergency services such as CFA, SES, and Victoria Police and ask the experts how best to prepare for emergency situations

When: Sunday, 31 October from 10.00am – 2.00pm.

Where: San Remo Foreshore Reserve, San Remo

Who: Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee, SES, CFA and Victoria Police, community members

Why: A recent outcome from the Bushfire Royal Commission was how important it is that members of the community are prepared and resilient in the event of an emergency. The Expo is designed to give residents tips and information on how to prepare and what they could expect in emergency situations.
