Crews continued patrolling and successfully blacking out the fire in Mullungdung State Forest. Nine dozers and one excavator began construction of fallback control lines.

A community meeting was held at the Woodside Community Hall at 8.00 pm last night and was attended by approximately 250 residents.

Today dozers will continue extending control lines and slashing is planned along some roadways near the south-eastern section of the fire.

Crews will continue to patrol and blackout within the fire perimeter. Thermal Imaging Camera crews may be resourced to identify hot spots still remaining inside the burnt area.
