Gippsland Rugby League are seeking expression of interest to form two "Media" teams to play ‘Storm League’ at Falcons Park (formerly Mobil Park), Morwell on Saturday, 1st March at the Storm Vs Canberra match.

What is Storm League you ask?

Storm league is a new style of football with similarities relating to ‘touch football’ except you will be using flags.

Who can play Storm League?

This game is not gender specific in fact; we are encouraging mixed teams to ensure you experience the true enjoyment of the game.

But, I don’t know the rules!

That’s okay, Gippsland Rugby League has ARL Accredited Level 1 & 2 Coaching staff that has volunteered their time to teach you the rules of the game.

How many in a team and how often do I need to train?

You only need seven (7) people per team, train two or three times for one week (half hour sessions) prior to the Storm Vs Canberra match.

Gippsland Rugby League will supply the Coaching staff, material resource (rules) and flags and tons of fun that goes along with this type of game.

If this is you, or if you require further information you can email me at hiri@netspace.net.au or simply phone me 5175 0733 (ah) or 5177 3977 (between 9am & 1.30pm).
